On 21st January,2026 Narmada College of Management organized a SEBI–SMART Investor Awareness Program to promote financial literacy and investor awareness among students.
The session was conducted by Mr. Abhishek Sharma, CEO of Empirical F&M Academy Pvt. Ltd., a reputed financial education institute with Pan-India presence. Under his leadership, the academy has empowered thousands of learners through industry-oriented capital market training and joint certification programs in collaboration with NSE Academy. Mr. Sharma has previously worked with reputed organizations such as JP Morgan and SMG Global Securities, gaining extensive experience in capital market operations. He is also a certified SEBI SMART Trainer, actively contributing to financial literacy initiatives across India.
During session, Mr. Sharma provided insights into BSE and NSE, interlinked asset classes, and the importance of informed investment decisions. He cautioned students against relying on random news channels and misleading advertisements related to trading and investment. The speaker emphasized the role of fundamental and technical analysis and highlighted that disciplined individual effort is essential for successful investing. The session was supported with real-life examples, current market case studies, and book recommendations such as “When Genius Failed.”
The session ended with question and answers. He also insisted students to focus on self-learning and how they can acquire various certificates he elaborated.
The program was highly interactive, engaging, and informative, significantly enhancing students’ understanding of capital markets and responsible investment practices.
