Dr. Rashmi Ghamawala actively participated in the Western Regional Conference (WRC– 2026) organized by the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), Surat Chapter on 2nd and 3rd January 2026 at AURO University, Earthspace, Hazira Road, Surat. The conference was conducted on the theme “Harnessing Technology and Creativity for Transformative Growth.” The event brought together HR professionals, trainers, academicians, and industry leaders from across the western region to discuss the evolving role of technology, creativity, and innovation in learning and organizational development. The conference served as a platform for sharing best practices, exploring new ideas, and strengthening professional networks.

The Inaugural Session was graced by eminent dignitaries including Shri Hasmukh P. Rama, Founder of JHM Enterprises/Auro Hotels and Founder President of AURO University; Shri Chandra Shekhar, Executive Director and Plant Manager of ONGC Hazira; and Shri Atul Shah, National President of ISTD, New Delhi. Other distinguished guests included Dr. Parimal Vyas, Vice  hancellor of AURO University; Shri Atul Sharma, National Vice President of ISTD; Shri N. Pany, National Treasurer of ISTD; Dr. Raju Rathod, RVP West, ISTD; and Dr. Manish Sidhpuria, Chairman of ISTD Surat Chapter.

During the conference, various sessions and discussions highlighted the importance of integrating technology with creativity to drive learning, innovation, and organizational transformation. Experts shared insights on modern training practices, digital learning tools, leadership development, and innovative approaches to talent development.

Dr. Rashmi Ghamawala’s participation in the conference provided valuable exposure to emerging trends in training and development, enabling the exchange of ideas and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry. The conference offered meaningful learning opportunities and reinforced the importance of continuous learning, innovation, and technology-driven growth in today’s dynamic professional environment.
