Diversity Days 2026: A Celebration of Culture and Inclusion

Narmada College of Management organized “Days Celebration 2026” from 9th to 14th February 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members. The celebration was conducted under the guidance of In-charge Director Dr. Chetna Makwana and Faculty Coordinator Prof. Rakhi Thakkar and was efficiently coordinated by student coordinators Disha Modi, Vaishnavi Gandhi and Asha Solanki.
The celebration kicked off on 9 February with Red Day, where students dressed in red attire. Fun games and interactive activities created a joyful atmosphere. Group & Twin Day (10 February) The event emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration, as students dressed in coordinated outfits, symbolizing unity and togetherness. A series of team games and dance activities encouraged participants to work together, fostering a sense of camaraderie and promoting effective communication among team members. The event successfully reinforced the value of collective effort and cooperation, essential skills for future professionals.
On 11 February – Cultural Day (Attire -Saree & Kurta) students celebrated culture by wearing traditional attire. During the Cultural Day celebration, FY and SY students showcased Bharuch’s rich history, highlighting
landmarks like the Golden Bridge, Kabirvad, and the Narmada River. They also shared the city’s historical significance and introduced notable personalities who contributed to Bharuch’s development, including Balwantray Kalyanray Thakore, Tribhuvandas Purushottamdas Luhar, and K.M. Munshi.
Main focus of the event was to highlight the culture, history and heritage of Bharuch. Games were organized, and faculty members also participated enthusiastically, making the day memorable.
On 12 February – Environment Day & Character: The event saw students creatively embodying their favourite characters, while others represented environmental icons, symbolizing the importance of conservation. The event successfully merged entertainment with environmental awareness, inspiring students to become responsible stewards of the environment.
On 13 February – Blue & Pink Day, students enjoyed theme-based dressing along with fun games and photography activities.
Black & White Day (14 February): The celebration concluded with a poignant tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the Pulwama attack. Students observed Black & White Day, paying homage to the sacrifices made by our nation’s martyrs. The sombre occasion reflected on the importance of valor and patriotism, inspiring students to appreciate the sacrifices made for our nation’s security and unity
The week-long celebration aimed to promote diversity, inclusivity, and creativity among students through various themed days, including Cultural Day, Colour Day, and others. The events encouraged students to express themselves, build team spirit, and develop essential skills like communication, leadership and problem-solving.
