Date: February, 25, Wednesday, 2026

Speaker: Mr. Apurva Pandya, Corporate Trainer & Happiness Coach

Organizer: NCM & Bharuch District Management Association (BDMA)

Venue: NCSC Conference Hall, Narmada College Campus, Bharuch

Narmada College of Management along with  Bharuch District Management Association (BDMA) organized an insightful guest lecture featuring Mr. Apurva Pandya, a renowned corporate trainer and emotional intelligence expert. The session, titled “Success Redefined,” aimed to shift the audience’s perspective from traditional, metric-heavy definitions of success toward a more holistic, sustainable, and mentally healthy approach to professional and personal achievement. Major points highlighted by the speaker in his session are :

  1. Beyond the Numbers: Holistic Success

Mr. Pandya argued that success has been narrowly defined by wealth, status, and titles for too long. He proposed a “Balanced Scorecard” for life, which includes:

  • Mental Well-being: The ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Quality of Relationships: Success is hollow if there is no one to share it with.

Physical Vitality: Health as the fundamental currency of high performance.

  1. The Role of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

A significant portion of the lecture focused on how high EQ often outweighs IQ in long-term career satisfaction. Mr. Pandya highlighted:

  • Self-Regulation: Managing triggers in a high-stress corporate environment.
  • Empathy: Building “human-centric” leadership models that foster loyalty and innovation.
  • Resilience: Redefining “failure” not as an end, but as a necessary data point for growth.

3. Inner Peace vs. Outer Achievement

The lecture concluded with an engaging Q&A session where attendees discussed the challenges of maintaining work-life balance in a competitive market. Mr. Apurva Pandya’s insights left the audience with a powerful realization: True success is measured not by how much we have, but by who we become in the process.

The event was a resounding success, reinforcing NCM and BDMA’s commitment to providing high-quality professional development and personal growth opportunities for the students
