“Deeksharambh – The Beginning of Learning”

Orientation Programme (Academic Year 2025–26)

Narmada College of Management (NCM) organized a two-day Orientation Programme – “Deeksharambh: The Beginning of Learning” for the newly admitted MBA students of the academic year 2025–26. The programme will be held on 19th and 20th August, 2025 at the Narmada College, Campus.
Day 1 – 19th August 2025
The programme began at 11:00 AM with Registration and Welcome by senior students, followed by the Inaugural Ceremony which will include prayer and lamp lighting. Dr. Chetna Makwana  I/C Director, NCM) delivered the welcome address for all the dignitaries and the newly admitted batch of MBA students.
The Guests of Honour included Dr. Sushmita Ganguly (Director-Education, NEST) along with Trustees of NEST – Shri M. I. Shamsi, Shri S. N. Vora, Shri S. C. Mehta, and Shri Pankil Kapadia.
The Keynote Address was delivered by Shri Harendra Singh Dagur Executive VP – Site Head, SRF Limited, Dahej to inspire the new admitted MBA aspirants. The inaugural session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Subhash Yadav.
In the afternoon, students were introduced to MBA program details which included NCM faculty academics, student development initiatives, placement and career counselling, alumni connect, industry visits, library and IT facilities, discipline and code of conduct. The session concluded with remarks by Dr. Rashmi Ghamawala.
Day 2 – 20th August 2025
The second day began with a welcome by Dr. Chetna Makwana, followed by an Expert Session titled “How to make the most the MBA Program” conducted by Dr. Raju Rathod (Professor, PGDBM, SP University & ISTD Trainer). The interactive session aimed to motivate students for the challenges of MBA life through discussions and management games.
In the afternoon, Icebreaking Activities were organized by faculty and senior MBA students, followed by a Campus Tour to familiarize new students with the facilities. The programme concluded with a wrap-up session and group photographs under the guidance of Prof. Rakesh Panchal.
The primary objective of this two-day Orientation Programme was to inspire, guide, and prepare the new MBA students for their academic and professional journey.
