A large delegation of third-year MBA students from Narmada College of Management (NCM) participated in the NHRD Meet on August 21, along with faculty members Dr. Rashmi Ghamawala and Prof. Rakhi Thakkar. The event was hosted at Cohizon Life Sciences Ltd. The active participation of the NCM students and faculty demonstrated their strong engagement with the NHRD Network and its initiatives.
The initial part of the meeting, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, was dedicated to informal networking and conversation (ગપશપ), allowing members to connect and socialize before the formal agenda began.
The main event of the evening was a captivating presentation on the book Trillion Dollar Coach: The Leadership Handbook of Silicon Valley’s Bill Campbell. Shri Manthan Bhai Joshi, renowned for his storytelling and book narrations (રસાસ્વાદ), led the discussion.
Joshi Sir didn’t just review the book; he enriched the content with his own extensive experience, providing valuable insights and practical examples. The presentation highlighted
the key leadership principles of Bill Campbell, a legendary coach to some of Silicon Valley’s most successful leaders, including Steve Jobs and Larry Page. The talk included several “heart-touching examples” from the book, which resonated deeply with the audience.
The event also served as a memorable felicitation for Dr. Trupti Almoula, a recently retired and highly respected Director from the Narmada College of Management, Bharuch. Dr. Almoula has been a strong supporter of the management movement in general and the NHRD Network in particular, and her contributions were recognized and celebrated by all attendees.
