Theme: Selected Leaders sharing on Three Best Pieces of Advice I Received for Life/Job and What I Did Thereafter
NCM HR Faculties – Dr. Rashmi Ghamawala and Prof. Rakhi Thakkar along with 25 students from MBA Second Year HR participated in the NHRD Meet held on 24th Sept, 2025. The event was hosted by Saint Gobain, Zhagadia. The active participation of the NCM students and faculty demonstrated their strong engagement with the NHRD Network and its initiatives. The initial part of the meeting, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, was dedicated to informal networking, greetings and conversation (ગપશપ) to set a comfortable tone for the session
The Meet aimed to foster sharing of valuable advice received in personal or professional life and explore how these insights influenced participants’ actions and growth. Few Selected Leaders / Participants were encouraged to share their experiences within a 7-minute timeframe. Dr. Rashmi Ghamawala & Prof. Rakhi Thakkar was also invited to share their three best pieces of advice received, focusing on their impact and subsequent actions.
Dr. Rashmi shared on best three advices received in her professional life as – Prefer Progress against Perfection; Being Assertive especially when you communicate with your Seniors; Embrace change and be adaptable to new challenges.
Prof. Rakhi shared on importance of being Resilient in life; embrace lifelong learning; giving weightage and time to family over professional life.
Other Selected participants also shared their stories related to the chosen subject which came out as impactful learnings especially for our students. This Meet really inspired, motivated, through real learnings from each other’s life and career journeys.
