Dates of Visit: 16, 17 and 21 July 2026

Objective

The Faculty Industrial Visit was organized to express sincere gratitude to the industries that have continuously supported Narmada College of Management through campus placements, summer internships, industrial interactions, and various academic initiatives over the years. The visit also aimed to strengthen the long-term relationship between the institute and industry partners while exploring future opportunities for collaboration.

Activities Conducted

During the visit, the faculty members personally met HR representatives and management officials of the industries to acknowledge their valuable contribution towards the growth and placement of Narmada College of Management students.

As a token of appreciation, each organization was presented with:

  • Appreciation Letter
  • College Memento
  • Narmada College of Management Information Brochure

The faculty members also interacted with industry representatives regarding future campus recruitment, Summer Internship Projects (SIPs), industrial visits, guest lectures, and other collaborative academic activities.

Common Feedback Received from Industries

The interactions with HR professionals and industry representatives generated valuable feedback for enhancing students’ employability. The major observations received from most companies were:

  • Students should develop a stronger work attitude and professional commitment.
  • Greater emphasis should be placed on professional behaviour and workplace ethics.
  • Students should become more flexible and adaptable to different work environments.
  • Students should take Summer Internship Projects (SIPs) more seriously, as they play an important role in employability.
  • Communication skills, particularly spoken English and professional communication, need further improvement.

The Placement Cell and faculty members will incorporate these suggestions into training programmes, placement preparation, and skill development activities.

Outcome of the Visit

The visit successfully strengthened the relationship between Narmada College of Management and its valued industry partners. The appreciation expressed by the college was well received, and the companies appreciated the initiative taken by the faculty members.

Several organizations reaffirmed their willingness to continue supporting the institute through campus placements, Summer Internship Projects, industrial visits, expert sessions, and other academic collaborations. The feedback received during the interactions will help the institute enhance placement readiness and align student competencies with industry expectations.
