Participated by NCM Faculties: Dr. Rashmi Ghamawala & Ms. Rakhi Thakkar

The BICON-2026 conference, organized by Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) Bharuch Chapter was held on March 28, 2026 focused on the vital themes of Operational Efficiencies and Organizational Development.

Two NCM Faculties namely Dr. Rashmi Ghamawala & Ms. Rakhi Thakkar participated in this conference.

The event aimed to foster knowledge sharing, networking, and the exchange of best practices among professionals, trainers, academicians, and industry experts in the Bharuch region.

Key Objectives of the Conference were: –

  • To create a platform for networking and knowledge enhancement.
  • To facilitate interaction between students and professionals, aligning industry requirements with student competencies.
  • To promote the development efforts within the Bharuch district.

Keynote Address was given by Shri Akash Thakur, Founder and Managing Partner, HRBP Global on the topic ‘Operational Excellence in the AI Era’. He Focused on integrating technology, human systems, and ESG principles for operational excellence.

Other Expert Sessions were by:-

  • Rajiv Kurulkar, Consultant and Business Excellence Facilitator delivered on Shift from cost efficiency to value creation through operational excellence, standardization, and scalability.
  • Shri Mayur Patel, Ceo, Proflex and President, National HRD Network, Ahmedabad gave insights on Well-being-centric organizational design, skills-based talent management, and future of work strategies.
  • Sheetal Nair, Founder – Better MYND Waves & Director – DSSG Bespoke Solutions presented on Organizational culture transformation, reimagining OD, and fostering resilience through flexible work systems.
  • Pinal Patel, Director- EHS, Alstom Transport India ltd. Delivered on ESG as a core strategy, sustainability, circular economy, and embedding sustainability into core operations.

 

The conference successfully emphasized the importance of integrating operational efficiencies with organizational development for sustainable growth. It provided valuable insights into contemporary strategies, technological integration, and sustainability practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and resilience.
