Introduction: Most of us have a very strong routine, which does not allow us to look at different aspects of our various roles. In this situation Excellence in our roles is hardly thought about. But our customers look for Role Excellence from us. This Workshop provided an opportunity to relook at our present status in our various roles.
The primary objective of this program is to guide Faculties in developing habits for Roel excellence. Everyone can get it if one learns and practices for life. And no one can get it without learning and practicing. This Workshop provided an opportunity to know all this and much more. It was a full day Workshop with appropriate breaks in between.
The workshop was designed by Dr. Trupti Almoula and Dr. A. K. Singh for the teachers’ development. The Workshop was facilitated by Shri Himanshu Bhatt, who structured his talk around two main pillars: Habit, Role Excellence at workplace and in Family life. He emphasized the importance of habit formation, personal performance, and the role excellence in various capacity in shaping professional success as well as family happiness. The Workshop was highly participative in nature with lots of real-life stories and a few video clips like Anil Naik ,Lord Krishna etc.
About Resource person – Shri Himanshu Bhatt is a Leadership Coach and Incubator of leaders. He has learned his most important lessons of life from the Shroffs (Excel Industries Ltd.).
About Participants: 34 Faculties from NCM and NCSC had participated in the workshop.
Workshop was started with inaugural function, where Director NCM, Principal NCSC and many faculties from the NCSC and NCM were present. Session was opened up by Dr. Trupti Almoula, director NCM by addressing audience about the significance of workshop for teachers and its impact on society.
Shri Himanshu Bhatt discussed that “what as individual professionals are expected as teacher and family member”, which includes:
• Sissifying roles at various Capacity
• Role of Teacher; National builder, Encourage exploration amongst Students, Role Model, Strength Finder, Protection, etc.
• Habits for Role Effectiveness
• Habit Formation etc.
Habit of effectiveness and Golden rule of Excellence as discussed in workshop are as given below:
• Commitment and ownership.
• Self-motivation and commitment.
• 100% perfection in work, 100% of the time, 100 % Home work
• Focus on making contribution to institution.
• Focus and Positive Reporting
• Self-renewal, power of one.
• Work Values makes Difference
• Excellence in family roles.
• Introspectionetc.

He also discussed the enemies of credibility and career growth: We should avoid the harmful habits or should a main distance from bad habits like-
• Telling lies, Dishonesty,
• Lack of pursuit for perfection.
• Avoiding new opportunities and learning.
• Expectation and comparison
• Doing Job along with complaining and crying for it
• Being Poor at Homework
Rain comes Sunshine was told by sir throughout the session which says “After the rain comes sunshine” is a reminder that challenges and difficult times (the “rain”) are often followed by better, brighter moments (the “sunshine”).
At the conclusion of the session, Shri Himanshu Bhatt discussed how teachers can develop good habits and achieve role excellence at various role of life. He concluded by providing the invaluable insights on developing the right habits for role excellence in life. Faculties actively engaged by asking questions as well as sharing their affirmation of developing new habits. Shri Himanshu Bhatt addressed these by emphasizing continuous learning& Self Renewal, and the importance of good habit, and contribution to the organisation.
In Last, Session headed by Dr Trupti Almoula, where teachers shared their reflection of whole day learning and their take aways.
In Closing ceremony of workshop, NEST Trustees presented their views on role excellence and habit for effectiveness and its significance in life of teacher. workshop and Participation of Faculties were appreciated by Trustees and other Senior faculties. Workshop were closed with vote of thanks given by Dr Chetna Makwana, NCM.
