Date of Activity: 3 November 2026

Narmada College of Management (NCM), Bharuch, organised the Green Diwali Campaign – 2026 on 3 November 2026 to create awareness among students and faculty members about the importance of celebrating Diwali in an eco-friendly and responsible manner.
The campaign was organised with the theme “Say No to Crackers, Yes to Clean Air”, highlighting the importance of protecting the environment, maintaining clean air, safeguarding human health, and promoting sustainable festive celebrations. The initiative was aligned with the spirit of Mission LiFE and the broader objective of environmental conservation.
The campaign highlighted the adverse effects of firecrackers, including air and noise pollution, health concerns, waste generation, and their impact on animals and birds. It also encouraged participants to adopt environmentally responsible practices such as using traditional diyas, choosing natural rangoli materials, reducing waste, reusing decorations, and celebrating Diwali without firecrackers.
Faculty members and students actively participated in the awareness initiative and reaffirmed their commitment towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment. The campaign encouraged everyone to make responsible choices during festive celebrations and spread the message of environmental sustainability within their families and communities.
The activity concluded with a collective commitment to celebrate a cracker-free Diwali and contribute towards environmental protection through individual and community efforts.
Through this initiative, Narmada College of Management reaffirmed its commitment to environmental awareness, social responsibility, and sustainable development.
